Listening to the hardcore channel.

I feel like such a teeny bopper. I’m listening to a hardcore mix of Avril Lavigne’s “Complicated” and actually enjoying it.

On the other hand they were playing a remix of 4Hero’s “Mr Kirk’s Nightmare” before, so that slightly redeems me (old skool means you are cool and poetic).

“Mr Kirk?”

“Do you have a son named Robert…Robert Kirk aged 17?”

“I’m sorry Mr Kirk, you better come down to the station house, your son is dead!”

Dead?! H-H-How??

“He died of an overdose…”

“You son is dead, dead, dead, dead, d-d-d-d-deaaaaaad.”

listening to that song jesus of suburbia by green day has made me think. that song is clearly the best of the singles from that album, and while its average, i can imagine it being an awesome style of music. i dont know of any bands that do this. do you?

and why is firefox making my apostrophes turn into the search bar? weird.

I’ll have to track that song down, haven’t got any Greenday songs (except for really old stuff).

It is a special day for the apostrophe””s

it’s not too special, more like 3 or 4 songs in one, but it’s unusual (yay the apostrophe worked 😀 ) to hear it in punk-ish songs which tend to be simple usually.
